127 Corridor 654 Miles of Flea Markets and Yard Sales

We are back from vacation.  :)  For another year, we have logged in time at the 127 Corridor Longest Yard Sale that extends from the bottom of Michigan to top of Alabama.   Most of the days were extremely hot this year with the exception of our last day hunting.  It made for a nice send off to have some cooler weather on the last leg of our journey. ;)  I highly recommend this trip to those who love to hunt for bargains, antiques, and just about anything else that you can think of!  If a person cannot find a treasure or two or three... ;) on this trip, then he or she is not looking.  My mind is still swimming from all of the wonderful items.  It is a pleasure just to view them.   Plus, the scenery, cities, people, and towns are just spectacular!

I will post some more of my pics and show a few of our finds.  If you are interested in attending next year, information can be found here.  It is impossible to stop at all of the venues.  But of course... You can never have too many sales to choose from! :)

Glad you found some neat things - can't wait to see them. We went about 20 miles on 127 - it runs through our town and frankly, they sales we stopped at only had JUNK. Junk that I would throw in the garbage can! DH didn't find much either. We spent under $20.00 total! ~Ann

Hi Ann :) ... We went a day early to go through Ohio, since we never had before. We couldn't find much for sales open there. Kentucky and Tennessee are up and running two to three days before the actual start date. We were so disappointed. (To potential attendees: Please do not let this influence anyone against Ohio, this was just our experience. ;) ) It really makes me wonder how many sale venues that they have in the state. The Ohio area is still pretty new to the sale, so maybe it will pick up in future years. Next year we will stick with KY and TN like we normally do.

There are patches of JUNK sales here and there in KY and TN too, but there are so many sale areas filled with great sellers that we can do drive bys on the bad sales without any feelings of guilt. Most of the better sale areas are in the same place each year. I am glad to hear of your experience, my hubby said he won't feel bad about going back to our normal starting point! :)

Looks like great fun. We did the 100 mile sale through MN and WI one year. Found wonderful coffee shops - can you tell our priorities? But a few cool 'finds' ...
Thanks for sharing!

Hello Carolyn and Dawn... It was great fun. I sometimes wish it could go on a little longer. I always say that we eat our way through the South. ;) LOL I always love to check out the local places. :)
